COSMETIC COLOURS
In the EU all food colours are approved for colouring cosmetic products / body care products.
In addition, various cosmetic colorants and pigments are available in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council on cosmetic products, or with Title 21 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR 21), which regulates foods, medicines and cosmetics for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States.
